advised, but found only 3 fixes at:

Well, since no one answered my question, I went and did a search for
each and every one of those. Here is what found (I have W2K Pro):
KB815494 * : W2K server - does not apply to W2K Pro
KB823182 : W2K Pro
KB823559 : W2K Pro, but seems to be already included in SP4.
KB824105 : W2K Pro, but seems to be already included in SP4.
KB824141 : W2K Pro, but seems to be already included in SP4.
KB824146 : W2K Pro
KB825119 : W2K Pro
KB826232 * : W2K Pro
KB828035 : W2K Pro
KB828749 * : W2K Pro
So, what have we got here? 6 post-SP4 hotfixes for W2K Pro, only 2 of
them are listed under the magic kbWin2000preSP5fix microsoft keyword.
So much for relying on Microsoft's official support...

Indeed, searching for the keyword kbWin2000preSP5fix at the provided
URL, yields only 3 results. But searching for the same exact keyword
somewhere else at Microsoft's site yields much more:
