? post about WMP in XP Pro not answered

I had no response to my question about why I cannot save wav and mid files to My Music folder when they come in to me in an email, like I used to do.

I right click on the mid and used to be able to Save As but now the only options on my new system are Open, Cancel, Delete. If I click Open, WMP opens and plays the mid, but I have no idea how to save it to my Playlist in My Music Folder. I've tried everything I know to do this.

PLEASE respond, someone--this is my second post on this obstacle.

Maybe you'll get better response by posting in the mediaplayer newsgroup,
which would be appropriate for your question.

Or a newsgroup for whatever email client the OP is using. It sounds like the
problem is with the email client not wmp.

Lack of a response usually means no one knows the answer, and/or
you have posted it to the wrong newsgroup, and/or you may have
irritated the person who does know the answer (I'm not saying you
did that). Usually it's because no one knows the answer to your
question and choose to leave it for someone who does.

Also, many will not answer an HTML post; it's not only rude on
newsgroups but many newsreades see such a collection of code junk
on their screens that they couldn't find your message without
considerable effort.

1. Post in Plain Text Only.
2. See if you can't find a more relevant group to post to.
3. Also include all relevant information; you left a lot out.
