Hello, I just built a new computer and installed a brand
new copy of xp pro on it. I've been using it a few days
now. I haven't really installed many programs besides
benchmark utilities. Other than that, I insalled sp1,
and all the required drivers for my hardware. Then today
while browsing the program files folder I see
a "microsoft frontpage" folder. I never installed this
program, nor have i ever owned it. When I open it there
is a folder inside named "version3.0". Open that, inside
another folder named "bin". Open up that and there is
nothing in there, no hidden files or anything. Also, I
can't delete it! When I try it says it's being used by
another person or program. I tried disconnecting my
ethernet, and I still couldn't delete it. And there
can't be any programs using it. Because there is nothing
in it.

What's even more weird is that I remember seeing this
same thing on my old computer which had a completely
different copy of xp pro on it. I've run virus programs,
anti-trojan programs, personal firewalls, and nothing.
The programs don't detect anything wrong. I don't
understand why it's there. Another thing, why aren't the
folders named with uppercase letters? If it was
installed by a program, normally it should be
capitalized. It's making me crazy. Please somebody help
me. If it's normal than i'll stop worrying, but someone
has to know what this is. And why it's there.

Sorry for such a long post.

Thanks in advance for any kind of advice,
Chris Cox

Chris;
That file is normal.
I am not sure why it is part of a windows XP installation, but it is.
