Tom,
I think so.
I think thats what WAIK(Windows Advanced Installation Kit?) is all about;
custom installs.
Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it'll be done.
Sorry for the general info-but to answer you; think so!!!

So basically I just need to edit my RC2 image and create a folder called
Updates and then place the drivers into that folder that I wanted
slipstreamed and it would load them for me? Is this correct?

I believe nLite has now officially stopped working on XP versions of their
software and now focussing on Vista. Their software is free and known to be
the best Slipstreaming/Install Customisation package for XP.

I didn't know they were working on a vista version. I used that for all of
my xp slipstreams.

An update folder already exists, use that one.

So all we have to do is put our updates in there and vista will
automatically check the folder to see the updates? Or do we have to edit a
setup.ini or something. Would this work for exe files as well?

I am assuming that this folder will be there in the final version. On my RC2
image there is no folder called Update in the root of the dvd.

I see a folder called upgrade but not update nor updates. Do I use the
upgrade folder or create a folder called update?

My RC2 image has an Update folder

I checked an RC1 iso for that folder, so I will check the RC2....
Indeed, there is an update folder. What are you using to view the image ?
I used Virtual PC to capture the iso image and take a look.

My RC2 build 5744 has an update folder.
My RC1 build 5600, Pre-RC1 build 5536, Beta2 build 5384 has "upgrade" as
well as my 5728 build whose version I don't know what is.
I may have miss named my folders, but it looks like only the last release
RC2 has it named update.

If there is an upgrade folder, use that one. If there is an update folder,
use that one.
I rechecked my RC1 and indeed it is "upgrade" not update.

Nothing, I browsed the DVD after burning the image!
