Possible to refresh net cnxn w/o rebooting in XP??

My Linksys wireless 4 port router is wired to my cpu but is wireless to the
others in my home. It keeps (2x per day on average) dropping my connection
while the other wireless ones remain o.k. so I have to reboot. I get the
usual gobbledy gook from Linksys w/o their solving the problem though I've
changed the wire and the Ethernet card and slowed down the connection.
Router was also replaced by them. So since this will likely be an ongoing
situation I'm wondering if it is possible to refresh the internet connection
w/o having to reboot. Running WinXP home, not sp1 upgraded, but I keep my
drivers up to date.

If you go to Network Connections (found in control
panel), right-click the appropriate connection icon and
click repair, that should work.

You might also try going to a static IP as opposed to
using DHCP, if you haven't already. I'm assuming when
you say it drops the connection that the network stops
working but your light on the router is still on. If the
light does not stay on I would definitely blame hardware.
