Possible to have outlook's calendar (3months) be displayed on desk

Hi people,
As asked in subject, I don;t know if this is possible but instead of having
outlook running to ensure reminders popup, just having 3 months or whatever
displayed on the desktop bottom right corner or where ever you prefer and
have the dates marked where tasks or something is due so you are aware
something requires attention soon. I know I can get 3rd party apps to do this
but I was hoping there was a way to do this in outlook.
I am talking about version 2002. Maybe this is possible within Exchange?!?

Advise or any info would be much appreciated.

p.s. I trust this is the correct newsgroup to ask this?
 
There are ways of doing this, but the best ones open outlook so it runs
hidden and the others need access to outlook and will load outlook as
needed.
