Possible spyware?

Cliff Lewis

A few times I have noticed a single white pixel on my desktop. It is
not always there. At first I thought it was a defect in the screen,
but yesterday I discovered that if I click on it with my mouse, a
small vertical scrollbar appears, but does not seem to do anything.
Any thoughts on what this might be and how to stop it?
