It happened to me twice that when I access some website several ad
programs are installed onto my computer without any warning message. I
suspect there's some code on the website that exploits IE
vulnerabilities. one website I experienced in www.friendster.com,
several ad programs were installed onto my machine and keys were added
in my registry so the programs would be run every time windows starts
up. I guess other worms or viruses can also be delivered this way.
does anyone have similar experience? are developers at microsoft aware
of this problem?
