Possible Hard Drive Failing?

Hello all,

Got a weird situation happening on my 2nd computer. It is a Tyan
Tsunami ATX P3 650 with 256 megs of ram and Windows XP SP1a. Just
recently it has started acting up. I'll be in something and then
windows will jump to blue screen of death with a dll error. The dlls
are not consistent so I can't identify what could be the cause. One
minute an app will fail the next it will work. I sometimes get
corrupted files while downloading then the next time it is better. I
initially thought this was the work of a virus but I have clear the
CMOS, and ran 2 full scans using NAV. On top of this, I have
reinstalled XP 3 times in total and I am still getting these random
crashes. Do you think that this is the cause of 2 hard drives that are
on the verge of failing or do you still think that there is a virus on
my comp that NAV has not picked up?

Sounds like a memory problem. Download and run
a tester. Here's one, there are others.
