I did a project and thought I'd try out the file burn option in Vista. It
burned (and finalized) & read fine on my system. But when I took it to a
co-worker with a (boo hiss) Mac running OS X...it gave me an error saying it
couldn't read the disc. I took it back upstairs and burned it with Nero 7
and it worked like a charm.

Windows Vista has two ways to write a disc. It can put it down like a
complete image (the most compatible), or it can write data to it like a hard
drive would write data, that doesn't finalize the disc so its writable in
other players however.
