From reading just about all of these post's on this
software, I have come to a conclusion, that may or may not
sit well with others. AS we all know, jsut about 98% of
the world uses Microsoft products everyday. With the other
percentage using Apple, which Gates has a hand in, and
some use Linux.

From what i see, this is another opprotunity for Microsoft
to blame things on software piracy. With Microsoft having
to pay out billions in fines, and currently having to
release modified versions of Windows in Europe, it coss
for a loss of revenue. So what do they do, they blame
piracy.

They buy out another company and use its software, and
redesign it, recode it as one of their own. One would
think that with all of the programsers, coders, designers
that work for Microsoft, they could come out with a better
looking and far better operable Beta piece. A piece of
software that wants to remove their own files, because it
classifies them as spyware?, what were they thinking? If
Microsoft wants to break into the Anti Spyware business,
then i think they really need to read up on and look at
how the things work and run.

Overall, i think Microsoft really has to get its act
together. They cant blame piracy all the time for bad and
flawed designs. As for weather or not this piece of
software will be free?, probably not. Most likely, it will
run in the range of about $39.99 seperatly, or be
incorperated within LongHorn.

And how long will it take for them to release a full
working, not so destructive piece of software? I for one
hate spyware/adware as much as the next guy. And i would
love for a piece of software that works above and beyond
all expectations.

They just bought the program & company last month. They
obviously haven't yet "redesigned and recoded it as one of
their own". Everyone who's used Giant AntiSpyware thinks
that the only changes were in branding (logos, filenames).
