POS programming

That is a tall order. I have written a commercialized POS database -- has
taken hundreds of hours to program, design, and debug -- and it's still in a
state of constant improvement and growth. This database has about 50 tables,
over 250 queries, about 150 forms, about 25 reports, etc. To try to "teach"
that via a newsgroup post is a tall - no, impossible - task.

You're going to need to do some reading and research, and then post here
with specific questions about what you need help doing.

Who knows how to program Point Of Sale Display?
Thank you.
Randy.

Randy, this question is hopelessly ambiguous.

Is this a one-user system for a small store, where you or a trained
clerk will be the only user? A kiosk system where customers can enter
their own sales? A distributed system with hundreds of installations
in six states, all communicating with one another?

As noted elsethread: you're talking about a BIG job, well beyond being
able to expect someone to "give you the answer" in a few lines of a
newsgroup post.

I'd suggest you investigate the Northwind sample database to get an
idea of what Access can do, and do some reading; at the very least,
come up with some much more specific questions. This one is a bit like
asking a builder "can you tell me how to build a house?".

Thank You for your information.
I will post a new topic "Pole Display"
Thank You again,
Randy.
