POS printers (point of sale)

I want to hook up a roll printer to access 2002 to create receipts for
certain transactions in the database. Does anyone know if this is possible.
If so, is it hard to get the printer to work. I know those printers don't
print graphics and I will have to stay with printing text and numbers. Any
ideas or problems I should be aware of?

If the printer doesn't come with its own driver, just use the "Generic Text
Driver" from Windows. It should work fine. Then set that printer as the
default for that report.
