POS for .NET --- issue with MSR

I am having a problem with the "POS for .NET" product. Is this the right
newsgroup to ask?
It seems to be fine, more or less, for my display, cash drawer, and receipt
printer. But when I try to Open() the magnetic stripe reader, it gives me an
error "Closed". Of course it's closed, that's why I'm opening it. Does
anyone have an idea of what's going on?

This isn't really the right group, since this group is for general .NET
support, not specific products. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer.
