What ports (tcp/udp) need to be open on my router to
allow me to use Voice Conversations with MSN Messenger
and Windows Messenger?

Greetings Keith,

Unfortunately just "opening" the ports won't do anything. However, for reference the ports
are 5004 through 65535 UDP. To order to fully make voice/video functional your router must
support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) in order to use all the features of Messenger. A good
majority of routers now have UPnP functionality, you may just require a firmware update that
supports UPnP or just have to turn it on in your router. If you let us know what router
you're using, we can quickly help you identify one way or another for you.
