I have a XP Machine that can't resolve any TCP or UDP
ports. I triple checked that the c:\windows\system32
\drivers\etc\services. file exists and doesn't have any
file extension or isn't corrupt or anything.
Basically all the ports from PortQry.exe result in
an "Unknown Serivce" regardless of if they are listening
or not. Its the only machine on the network that has the
problem. I uninstalled TCP/IP protocol and the NIC, then
reinstalled to no avail.
What could be causing this?
