I'm looking for a small email client (windows, gui or console) that I
can tote around on a memory stick. I don't want to have to install it on any
of the computers that I access, only the memory stick.

I also want it to be able to actually download the email, not just view
it online.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Foxmail ? Delivered as an OEM with some sticks.

Try Popcorn. The last free version (IIRC)is 1.50b3 - Google should find
it.

I.Scribe, available at http://memecode.com

I keep it on a keychain drive - it's greatly simplified my email life.

Cheers,

Michael

Hmmm, this looks promising. However I really do need to check multiple
accounts which the free version doesn't. Also, I need to be able to specify
a different smtp user name, which the free version (at least) doesn't allow.

Thanks for the heads up.
