I created a small table in Access on my home computer for
inventory control at work. Now the boss is getting me a
computer at work. Is it possible to put that table on a
3.5 and move it to the work computer, or do I have to
rebuild the table on the other computer at work?

Actually, you will copy the entire database or MDB file. If it's too big
for a diskette, you could use WinZip or another compression utility to put
it into a ZIP file which you'll unzip using the same utility on your work
computer. If the ZIP file is still too large for a diskette, you can email
the file as an attachment to your work email address.

I see no problem. You probably want to do a compact on the mdb to make it
small as possible just in case it don't fit on the floppy disk.

You can also zip it, as mdb files compress VERY well indeed.

If it don't fit on a floppy, then you can use a cd, but just remember any
file copied form a cd will be read-only on your hard disk, and you will have
to right click the file, and un-check the read only flag.
