Hello All:

Is there a way other than variations of the netstat command to monitor
certain ports and then receieve an SNMP trap when a port conection has
been made?

I am trying to monitor a certain port but need to execute a netstat -na
| more comand in order to see this info and it is a pain to do this
every 10 minutes.

Thanks,

Ben M.

What about using TrapSnap http://www.notepage.net/netic/trapsnap.htm
that should get the job doen for you.
