Hey, i was wondering how do you enable port fowarding on
Windows XP. I basically want to make it so that my RedHat
machine (which is on the network), can be accessed by
people on the web. I just want to foward a few ports like
22,80,25 etc:
Web Computer----->Windows XP Server---->RedHat Machine
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, i've been trying
to find a way to do it for ages.

Nobody has answered this yet, so I'll jump in . . .

Not sure how you limit the ports. There's a NAT implementation in Windows
called ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). Online Help (that start->help
thingy) should explain this in a pretty straightforward way.

Hi for the best and most effeiceint port fowarding you will need
router.. or you could this works great for dialup machines with
dynamic IP.. an old computer go to www.smoothwall.org download the c
image around 40meg this program is based around linux and is easy t
install and you dont need any understanding of linux... I've set i
up... but it wont work the way i want it to with ISDN interne
(dropping channels when voice calls come in) apart from that it is
smick Firewall port forwading etc... dont need amonitor once setup.
uses IE...

Cheers
