Port Forwarding to 3389 does not work, DMZ does

I have a WinXP Pro computer set up with RDC, and it is behind a NetGear
Rounter. I have set the port forwarding to 3389 for this computer's IP
address. The connection will not work.
However, if I set the default DMZ server for this computer's IP address, the
connection DOES work.

Of course I would rather not keep DMZ open for security reasons. Any other
ideas on how to get this router to work with RDC?

Thanks

Patrick, where is this reponse located? Can you provide a link to it, or
copy and paste here?
Thanks
Don

In this case, double and triple check that you are using the proper
internal IP Address and if your router allows you to specify different
incoming and outgoing ports, that these are set to 3389.
