What kind of popups are you seeing? Are these the typical Web browser
popups, or are they the kind that might be generated by the operating
system (in particular, the Messenger service)?
Also, how is your computer connected to the Internet? Are you behind a
firewall, or is the Internet connection coming directly into the computer?
