Some popups start a Windows Installer for Microsoft Frontpage. Is there
something I can do to stop this from happening. Is it a security issue?

Thanks,

Windows version, Kevin?
Have you just recently installed or attempted to install FrontPage?

Check your Add/Remove Programs List via Control Panel and tell us if
the program is listed - this would indicate that it is installed.

Add/Remove does list Microsoft Frontpage 2000 SR-1. The thing is this: when
browsing to certain sites (can list some sites if needed) with popup blocker
set to medium, a series of small windows with Frontpage installer printed on
them start to activate. I cancel them out, but finally get to a screen that
asks for my CD to install Frontpage or some of its options. Since Frontpage
is installed and working fine, I simply X (close) this window as well.

Perhaps? I should just put in the CD, and let whatever is trying to install
-- install? Thought! that it may be some type of virus trying to
install/load on to my machine/computer. So thought! best action was not to
install?

Thanks,
