Popups

Hi,

I have a program that is bring up popup ads and I cant
find it. I have looked at Internet Options - Settings -
View Objects and removed anything not known.

Where else can I look for resident RAM programs that bring
up popups?

Dude, go to "http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?

and download spybot. it Scans, detects and removes
malicious software (spyware, keyloggers, dialers, Trojan
Horses, popups, etc) from your machine. Great stuff. We
use it all the time.

Are you getting Internet Explorer browser popups or little
grey boxes that are popping up. If they are system pop
ups just go into services and disable MESSENGER. Once you
do that many of those pop ups will go away.
Im not a big fan of those seek and destroy spyware
programs.
