Popups not popping

Hi,

I've strange problem at the moment in that when I access some web sites
which use popups for some of their features eg date selection when I access
my bank or ferry booking the popups don't appear - the window appears then
closes immediately.

I assumed that it was some popup blocker kicking in but I have them all
turned off (IE, Google Toolbar, Zone Alarm, Lavasoft) with the same result.

I have been having problems with Windows Update so I'm wondering if anybody
can point me in the right direction.

Hi,
Take another look at Ad-aware- Adwatch (I think) The option is "Block
pop-ups aggressively." That feature sometimes allows a window to open
briefly before closing it.

Windows update newsgroup (monitored by Microsoft staff)
microsoft.public.windowsupdate
