Popup messaging between win 9x and win xp

Our small church school has a lan with many old win 95 and
win 98 donated pcs. We use winpopup for quick pc to pc
messaging.
A win xp was donated recently.. Can it send and receive
winpop messages (or other instant message)with the other
95/98 machines.

Yes. Open a command prompt window and type this for details:

net send /?

If you'd rather use a graphical user interface, install this free
program: RealPopup, from <http://www.realpopup.it>
