Popup called Messenger Service

I keep getting a frequent popup called Messenger Service.
It is always a message directing me to another website
most of which are pornographic. I right click on the
message to try to get properties to see where this is
coming from but nothing happens. Does anyone have any
idea how to get rid of this? Thanks.
