Populate multiple values from a pick list into a field

Have a master table to which I need to populate a field with multiple values
from a pick list for that specific field.
 
Sorry, can you rephrase this... Generally if you have data in a linked table
(pick list as you call it), you only need to reference the item in the table,
not have all the values copied across into another table. Of course, there
are instances when you want to do this, but generally not.
