populate drop down list in datagridview

i need to load a drop down list within a datagridview with names. each row will contain different names. editing will be done, but not on the names. they just need to be viewable.
i could use some help.

And we could use some details. Framework version? Is this ASP.NET? How are
you loading the grid? Etc.
