populate a list box

Hello,

I am using Powerpoint 2000. I would like to use a listbox
on my slide, but can't figure out how have it already
populated as soon as the slide runs - there doesn't seem
to be any "on open" methods in powerpoint like there would
be in excel. Is there a way to do what I want?
