I have installed Microsoft AntiSpyware and Norton Anti
Virus. Why do I still have the pop up ads? On the Norton
Anti virus, the Pop Up Blocking is always on.

Thank you for your help.

Item to check, I think it is already disabled but...
Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Services
Look for Messenger
Messenger is not the same as Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger, but is a
legitimate component of Windows. I expect that you will find that it has
been disabled when you right-click on it and look at the properties. If not,
stop it and disable it.
What is your pop-up blocking setting in Internet Explorer? Look at Internet
Explorer Tools menu to turn it on and to adjust the settings.
Regards
Dave

Check to make sure you have the latest updates on both
applications. Also do not soley depend on anti spyware to
keep you out of trouble. Make sure you have the latest
updates and patches. Also, put in safegaurds from your
browser.
