Does anyone know how to use these two together. I tried to change the port
from 8080 in PopFile, and couldn't get to the config screen anymore, so I
changed it back. Opening my browser, sometimes, but not always, runs
Popfile, and Proximitron doesn't even get to see the request.

I anyone has run these together, please give me a hint.

TIA

Why not change the port popfile is running on?

I don't know Aaron. When I was having the same problem as the poster
this is the fix I was given and it worked for me.

I run Proxomitron at 8080, Popfile 0.19.1 at 8081, changed in config
tab,, without problems.

check yourself if there is line
html_port 8081 ( or your one )
in c:\Program Files\POPFile\popfile.cfg
You can ( think, not tried ) set it manually there
(popfile closed )
and then run popfile.

http://127.0.0.1:8081/ should work, of browser is online.

Thanks to everyone, I had tried the above suggestion and it didn't work, I
could not get the page to open in the browser window. I tried it again, and
discovered that you need to restart PopFile after you make the change, well
duh!! So I'm feeling a bit stupid, and really appreciative of the help.

BTW, I am using Mozilla Firebird for most things, but still need access to
pages that will not work in Moz, so I need to keep IE around, at least for a
while. That's why I still need The Proximitron. Moz doesn't really benefit
from it as much.

Thanks
