POP3 to exchange

We recently installed an exchange server, we are using
Outlook 2000 and 2002. How can we switch from pop3 to
exchange accounts? When trying to add a account in 2000,
the only options were pop3 and imap. I have already set up
the connector to download the mail from the isp. Does
outlook have to be reinstalled?
