POP3 Service does not starts on local computer

Hi,

I am running a network with two DCs one working as parent and other
working as child. I have new installed MSExchange Server 2003 on MS
Server 2003. I have properly installed it and also installed the POP3
Service and SMTP Serice.

When I Strarts POP3 Service from the Serives then it gives the
following error

Could not start Microsoft POP3 Service on Local Computer
Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly.


can any body help me.

Have you checked the Event Viewer -- espcially System log -- for
other events related to this?

Have you looked at the service definition (services.msc) to see if there
is anything odd there -- like needing a valid username or some path
or switch setting?
