I am also having troubles with Vista and Windows Mail - my server at work is
Windows 2000 Small Business Server, and I run Exchange. My new laptop with
Vista is connected to the Domain. The POP3 does not connect.
This is the error: The connection to the server has failed. Account:
'mail.infdz.com', Server: 'mail.infdz.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
This happens with or without Authorization on the setup. I am able to
connect from my home network using Windows Mail on a similar Server setup.
Is there anything different about Vista and the POP3 connections?
