Every 4th-5th time I start up explorer, I get pop-ups
that lead to pornographic sites, and a message window
that says "hey dude, click for fresh teens". I've deleted
all cookies, temporary internet files, and the history,
but it keeps happening. I don't want to resort to a pop-
up blocker that will just close the windows before they
open. I want to remove this operation from the borwser
completely. Any suggestions?

Install and run SpyBot Search & Destroy from this link:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

If no joy, run "Hijack This" from same URL.

Thanks. I'll give this a try.

I posted a similiar message earlier today, I'm having the
exact same problem. Spybot and Adaware do not fix this
problem.

Hi Clay,

Assuming that you ran SpyBot and Ad-aware with the latest
reference files, run "Hijack This" from the link below:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Follow the instructions carefully, make sure you post your
logs to this site, http://forums.spywareinfo.com

running Hijack This was the answer. The problem with the
porn popups is attributed to two entries. I fixed them
and haven't had a problem yet. They are,

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {f760cb9e-c60f-4a89-890e-
fae8b849493e} - C:\WINNT\madise.dll

and

O16 - DPF: {f760cb9e-c60f-4a89-890e-fae8b849493e}
(IRDIXAObj Class) -

Thanks for such a great place to come for help.

Hi Clay,
Thanks for reporting back your findings ;)
Glad you got it sorted. A bit more on Hijack This, if you would
like additional material to read.
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/htlogtutorial.html
"Hijack This" support at Net-Integration, long URL,

(If above doesn't work for you, try here: http://snurl.com/hek ).

Please feel free to post back if you need anything else.
Best regards,
