Pop Up Windows for Windows Media Player

When I'm trying to listen to MY OWN CD's w/media player,
up pops an advertisement for (some kind of music)
w/WIndow's Media Player which I did NOT ask for. Not
only does it prevent me from playing my music, my system
freezes when I try to erase this unwanted intrusion on
Beethoven or Shubert!

What exactly is this leading you to? This is not a feature of WMP unless
you are talking about Find Album Info, but that's not a pop-up.
