Pop up when saving appointment

In Outlook 2002 with Exchange Server 5.5 on NT 4 SP6

Since downloading SP3 onto client PCs when trying to save
an appointment in Outlook the following message appears

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses .... Do
you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected it may be a virus and you should
choose "No"."

We run Sophos AV on server and all PCs and this is
updated hourly so I don't think it is a virus problem.
Has anyone lese found this problem and is there a
workaround?
 
It's a known issue with SP3; security has been updated to more closely match
the security in Outlook 2003. You may be able to get around the problem by
either disabling Word as your e-mail editor or updating some of your
add-ins, especially virus scanners and spam filters (many major
manufacturers have already released compatible updates). See the following
