Pop-up stopper problem

I was trying to stop pop-ups and reduce the ads appearing on webpages and in
the process also block redirected pages (e.g. Starwood pages from their
website that are redirected through doubleclick). This is very annoying and
I don't remember which program I used to get this 'feature'. Any help would
be appreciated.

I've tried both of these. My problem is that the blocking is working too
well. I'm trying to find the registry entry(s) that block the redirection.
 
Go to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab....either
select the Default Level. That should set your level back
to Medium...then use PopUpCop and Ad-Aware to maintain
your sanity.

would u try "Sleipnir",it is a browser basis on IE and it can efficiently
block popup windows as well as ads
