Pop-up problem

I am having a bad pop-up problem. It happens of course
when I us my MS ie6. I try to install a popup stopper
program, which installs without any problem, the problem
is that when I start ie6 it gets shut down like it too is
a popup.
Right now as I type this question I have had 3 popups
come up!!! )c:

So I guess my question is, is there something; a script
or something like that, that would cause this to happen?
If so how do I get rid of it?
