Pop up menus

Does anybody know how to get rid of the pop-up info boxes
on the XP desktop.

Warning--
If you remove the tooltips your day/date
(when you place cursor over clock) might also disappear.

Scroll to the bottom and UNcheck:
Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items
Apply
OK
