Well ive tried em all basicly, and none have works so hassle free than Panic Wares Pop-Up Blocker!
Its free from the link below, and it really does work a charm! Loadsa setting to play with to set how you want, very simple to use, and doesnt take up hardly any system resorces!
Well you could get hold of a legitimat copy of KaZaA lite and then download a Legitamate copy of NPF2003...
no the Norton personal firewall ad blocker is superb, dad bought the software and i borrowed it
the Service Pack 2 for windows XP is pretty damn good - the firewall is vastly imporved and blocks all kind of things and tells you about it without being intrusive - give that a go.
Also, i shoulda added this in my first post there is a great free firewall, its got regulaur free updates and is the best out of all the ones i've tried for sure! Its very simple to use and setup right.
Now 3 of my friends with very valuble software and data on there hard drives use this over Norton, Mcafe and PC-Cillin! So it must be doing something right. Its also recommended strongly by PCFormat!
cool, thanks for that guys, i think that the new IE popup blocker included with sp2 is excellent, but the machine i'm working on is 2k. will give the google toolbar ago.
thinking about it, mozilla's popup blocker's good aswell.
