Hey good people

I have a pop up blocker on my computer that is preventing
me from opening a game room applette. I cannot find it or
see it anywhere on my tool bars. How do I command a
search and have this removed or unabled?

Thank you very much.

* Complex

Open regedit and explore HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer, probably \Toolbar. Check the GUIDs you find there in
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. One of them will most likely point to a disk file, a .dll
file. If you don't recognise those, you can safely delete them.

If you installed a well-behaved application, the entry should read
"MyCompany Pop up blocker" in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\GUID.

As an example, Google toolbar registers like this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser\{2318C2B1-4965-11D4-9B18-009027A5CD4F}

Guid is {2318C2B1-4965-11D4-9B18-009027A5CD4F}, so
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\{2318C2B1-4965-11D4-9B18-009027A5CD4F} points to Google,
InProcServer32 points to "c:\program files\google\googletoolbar1.dll". But
google is well behaved.

Get a cleanup software, like a trial Norton CleanSweep or a freeware
cleanup and remove the extension.
