Poor Spyware Detection

I ran Microsoft's program on an XP PC and it found one
instance of spyware. The machine continured to have
spyware symptoms, so I ran Xoftspy, which found 88
instances that Microsoft missed, including 3 active
processes. One process triggered Xoftspy to run again after
a reboot. I will continue to try this software to see if it
improves, but I cannot rely on it for now.

I have same problem as you. SpywareBlaster found 60+
spyware/adware items. MS program found ZERO. The program
is not scanning "cookies". Have any idea why not?

Just keep in mind it is still a beta 1 release so it is
going to have flaws. As a beta, you can't rely on just
this program.

What spyware items did the beta miss? I can look into that issue if we know
what was missed.

In instances like this, where you've run the program and know that you still
have spyware, filing a report via Tools, suspected spyware report, and
detailing what you think is still there, would be a valuable contribution to
this beta.
