Poor Sound

T

Tommy B

For the last few months I have been experiencing poor sound from my PC.

When I play or stream music it has an "echo" to it that I cannot get rid of.

All my drivers etc. are up to date and I am somewhat at a loss as to what
could be causing this problem.

Thanks

.
Have you tried to set sounds back to default, control
panel, sounds, look around for a button that says
default, then apply, then ok,try that if not you may be
better off to delete the driver for it and reloading
it,start,,right click on my
computer,,properties,,hardware tab,,device
manager,,sounds look for the audio,,right click on it and
uninstall,,if you have a CD Rom with the driver on it put
it in your drive,,reboot,,the wizard will come up with
what you need to load the driver,,then give it a try.

If you have a Creative Soundblaster or Audigy sound card
got to start/all programs/creative/soundblaster/EAX
console. Uncheck the "Enable Audio Effects' box.
