First, let me say I am a Firefox user. However, I design websites so I
have to test pages in IE.
The basis of my problem is this; if I browse a page in Firefox, the
graphics (jpg, gif, etc) look fine. Smooth crisp edges and everything
looks great. I can open the same page in IE7 and the graphic look
terrible. The edges are ragged and it almost looks like they have been
forced to be larger that orginial size.
I checked the "advanced" tab the the multimedia options and tried
various setting there but no change occured.
What gives? I have followed a few threads that all seem to lead to
dead ends. Some folks blame the graphics card. I just don't get that
excuse. If that is so, the why do the pages look so good in Firefox?
For a little background, I have 3meg cable ISP, a Dell Latitude D610
(2gig memory) with an external 19" monitor.
Any advice is appreciated.
