poor images

the majority of the time when I go to my selected sites, the images/photos
are slightly distorted or poor quality. They appear blurred, out of focus.
What do I do to clear up the images/photos?

If you have dialup Internet access and are using an "accelerator" (AOL
and MSN both provide this) turn it off. The "accelerator" gives you the
illusion that your dialup connection is faster by compressing the
images. Less data = apparently faster response. Of course the
throughput isn't any faster in Reality(tm).

How long are you connected? The pics might be coming in steps, poor quality
first, more pixels slowly filling it up..
