Poor Connectibility

Since I downloaded WinXP updates yesterday, I am having connection issues
with IE6. Very slow at first IE window opening, and every time I let IE sit
at all. I notice that something called Software Distribution Services 2.0
installed at the same time as the update and this is mentioned on some
newsgroups as problematic (same problems as I'm experiencing, but no
resolution). I've tried restore, but it gives message that it is not able to
do so. Also, tried MSCONFIG, but this does not work either.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

You are infested with malware. First run a scan with an up to date
anti-virus. Then remove spyware.
