Anyone have an idea as to how to query a domain controller
for the NetBIOS name of a workstation that a user is
logged in from? I would think there would be a connection
table maintained somewhere.

Thanks!

Actually there isn't :-). The only information you will get is if you look
in shared Folders/Sessions on each DC to see who has established a
connection to your server, but this information is not reliable. You can
combine this with security auditing on your DC to get more precise value,
but.....
One of the options to check would be cconnect from Windows 2000 Server
resource kit, which is used to limit concurrent connections in your domain.
It uses SQL server to track logons to your domain. It could provide you with
the information you need.

I find that hard to believe, but then again we're dealing
with MS here. I'll check out cconnect. Thanks for your
help.
