I have a Windows 2000 server with AD deployed with XP Pro
clients. I have a group policy set up to hide the hard
drive, prevent users from changing files etc. However,
on one of the machines, and only one, the start menu is
showing icons that are not suppose be present, icons that
I would like to hide from the user, such as My Network
Places. Every other part of the policy works except this
one. I have verified that DNS is working correctly, and
I have even opened command prompt and performed a
secedit /refreshpolicy USER_POLICY, but that did not
help. Any ideas what to do? Thanks in advance.
